Dividend policy

Ekornes wants to manage shareholders’ investments in such a way that their return, measured as the sum of dividend and increase in share price, is as high as possible over time. As a general guideline, 30-50% of the result after tax will be paid out as dividend. However, account will be taken of the levels of capital expenditures and the rate of growth, while at the same time trying to maintain an equity ratio of around 50%. The company will strive for stability as far as its dividend policy is concerned.
